Re-watch Monki & Karma Kid in the Lab
The Tramlines Festival takeover
The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music.
For this installment we welcomed our good friends Tramlines festival down to give us an insight into the sounds on offer at this summer's event. Representing them was Monki, who returned for her second appearance in The Lab alongside Karma Kid.
Underground tastemaker and Radio 1 resident Monki is known for championing some of the finest emerging UK talent. Her box-fresh sets include everything from piano house to skeleton-shattering sub bass and expect exactly that this Friday afternoon. Come July 26 she'll be performing alongside the likes of Annie Mac, Mele ft. Slick Don, Shift K3y and Eliphino at this year's Tramlines.
Young Derbyshire producer Karma Kid has gone from strength to strength after introducing himself with the mellow 'Temptation' and 'Hunting Season.' His bass and house infusion has seen him reel in serious support from the likes of Bondax and Eton Messy and we premiered his hit single 'Like I'm On Fire' earlier this year.
Tramlines festival moves into its 6th year with stand out names including: Public Enemy, Jonwayne, Simian Mobile Disco, Lenzman, Gold Panda, The Gaslamp Killer and loads more. Taking over Sheffield's entire city center from July 25 – July 27 with four outdoor stages and over 50 venues this year's event looks set to be a highlight for this year's festival calendar, tickets and the full line-up can be found here
