The New Jersey rapper, known best for his 1989 track 'Just A Friend', has been in hospital in Maryland for "several weeks", as TMZ reports.
A rep for Biz Markie said: "He is receiving the best care from an amazing team of medical professionals and we remain positive about the outcome."
