Ranzh - 6/10

When he was a child, Canadian producer Ranzh was so desperate to make music he'd use laundry baskets, coat hangers and other household items as a makeshift drum kit. Having signed to US EDM label Hammarica last year, his music is still centred around huge, pounding drums, but his latest release isn't as commercial as his previous tracks. A catchy record that's made for big venues, he's incorporated elements of trance and included a female vocal – but it's still more 'big-room house' than trance.
