Radio Slave (Marcel Dettmann remix)

Two techno powerhouses show us their 'Vision'

Radio Slave's Rekids label has always been a destination for cutting edge house and techno and 2016 has already been an incredible year for the imprint.

Peggy Gou burst onto the scene in expert fashion with her 'Art Of War' Parts 1&2, Spencer Parker piledrived us into submission with Vol 2 of his outrageously good 'Silly Club Songs' and B.A.D.S (Radio Slave x Spencer Parker x Mr Ties) brought forward some stunning new remixes of their seminal anthem 'Hous-O-Matik Hom-O-Patik'.

Now it's time for the boss to release his first solo EP on the label this year and 'Vision' is as good as it gets. It may not be as ferocious as we've come to expect from the long-standing artist but its intricate melodies and cosmic feel more than make up for that.

As if the original mix isn't enough, on the remix is one of our favourite artists and someone well versed in bringing the dread.

Techno warrior Marcel Dettmann has kept those harmonious riffs intact and added some serious kicks into mix. When you factor in the sweeping chords and mechanical groove, you've got a track that's more than worthy of the Berghain. Check this.

'Vision' will be released on May 27 via Rekids and the Redkids 10 Years party takes place at Oval Space in London on May 29. Head here for tickets
