Premiesku

Desolat welcome Premiesku back for 2016

It's becoming more and more frequent that we hear the sounds of Romania trickle through into the mainstream. Of course the likes of RPR Soundsystem have been flying the flag for a while and entrancing dancers with their trippy, minimal tech-house, but another trio that have been making serious waves are Premiesku.

Livio & Roby and George G have been operating as Premiesku for well over five years and have released via Apollonia, 20:20 Vision, Vakant and most-notably Desolat.

On Loco Dice's imprint, the three have dropped numerous EPs and an album which came out in 2012 and all of these records blend thick, brooding house with dubby tech influences.

To kick start Desolat's year, the three have created the 'Altitude' EP and we have the first spin of 'Bucur', arguably the biggest track out of the four.

The cut shuffles and grooves with fierceness by employing carefully-scattered percussion, piercing sirens and tribal drops that will cause any club or outdoor stage to march with intent. Cracker.

The 'Altitude' EP by Premiesku will be released on January 25 via Desolat
