Premiere: YokoO delivers a blissful take on C.Vogt's 'Purple Hills'

A spark from the French producer on All Day I Dream ahead of SXM

Chriss Vogt had big, musical shoes to fill from the start. His father, a renowned violinist, can absolutely be partially credited for inspiring Chriss to pick up both the saxophone and piano at an early age, laying the groundwork for a fundamental love and understanding music before he cracked into the electronic sphere.

With previous releases on Get Physical, Circus Recordings, Visionquest and more, Chriss has dutifully established his own name in dance music, this time lending his track 'Purple Hills' to YokoO for a melodic, enrapturing remix.

French native YokoO is a staple of the All Day I Dream family and it's easy to see why. His thoughtful, warm house translations have nabbed coveted spots in sets of the likes of Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay and more. In March, YokoO heads out to SXM Fest in St. Martin alongside Black Coffee, Âme, Bob Moses and ADID honcho, Lee Burridge.

His rework of 'Purple Hills' is no different, fitting perfectly into his growing artillery of All Day I Dream releases. It was a moment not one person in the ADID Morocco crowd could forget and is out on the label on February 24.
