Premiere: Victor Calderone’s deep techno masterpiece ‘Parallel’
A haunting track, ideal for his first appearance on MOOD
Influential techno DJ and producer Victor Calderone makes his first appearance on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD imprint with the ‘Parallel’ EP, featuring a title track that focuses on a deep and dubby motif.
Following recent releases on esteemed labels like Drumcode and Intec, the Brooklyn native finally graces MOOD after years of collaborating with Nicole in both the studio and DJ booth. Their styles of techno compliment each other beautifully, with both fusing techy elements with driving, relentless rhythm.
‘Parallel’ sees Calderone leaning into darker territory.The track leads with stripped back rhythm and subtle synth stabs that build as reinforced percussion and haunting, distorted atmospherics evolve.
