GotSome up the tempo on Sure Thing's funk-infused 'Holding You Tight'
As far as Bristol supergroups go, Joker, DJ Die and Futureboogie affiliate Christophé are doing a pretty good job of representing under their collaborative project Sure Thing.
With Desi Rogers on drums, the dubstep, jungle and house producers come together to form a group creating music that wouldn't be out of place within the confines of a Miami beach club in the '80s.
Their debut release 'Holding You Tight', due for release on June 2, is an epitome of this funk-infused sound and it's been given the remix treatment by fellow Bristolians GotSome.
The Bump-in-the-Trunk rework knocks the tempo up a notch, introducing some infectious synth stabs and a throbbing bassline to accompany the occasional bell ringing and the inescapably catchy vocal hook.
