Premiere: Rødhåd gives Radio Slave a punishing makeover

'Vision' is one of our favourite tracks this year

Before the start of the Summer, we were obsessed with Radio Slave's 'Vision' and it seems that over the festival season, it's been doing the business on soundsystems around the world, as we expected.

Released back in May, the shifty, agitated techno track was yet another fine addition to Radio Slave's booming Rekids discography and the accompanying remixes gave the track even more weight.

As the Summer draws to a close, it's time for yet more remixes and after we premiered Marcel Dettmann's feverish edit a few months ago, we jumped at the chance to host another one. Our April cover star, German techno sensation Rødhåd steps into the frame and if you thought 'Vision' couldn't get any bigger then you'd be wrong.

The Dystopian boss has had one of his biggest years to date, with countless gigs around the world, usually resulting in pandemonium wherever he goes. His eerie, bell-jangling remix packs a serious amount of dread and angst until it drops into something far more demonic and danceable.

It's aimed purely at the floor and despite the fact the dread is swapped for serenity in the second half, it's one of Rødhåd's most accomplished remixes to date. This will be big.

The 'Vision' (Remixes) will be released digitally on October 14 via Rekids
