Premiere: Nitin’s 'Sunday Grey' gets a boost of energy from Art Department
A cosmic remix that gets deep
Barcelona based DJ and producer Art Department provides an energetic remix of Nitin’s ‘Sunday Grey’ EP, flipping the title track with a menacing motif.
As the ‘Sunday Grey’ EP is set for release on No. 19 Music, the label run by Art Department and Nitin, it’s fitting that both artists get involved in supplying new material. The original is decidedly more soothing than the remix, which is more tuned for high energy moments.
By transforming the atmospheric nature of the original ‘Sunday Grey’, Art Department lets the deep, resounding bass echo throughout the track as techy melodies ring in and deliver a more cosmic approach.
Nitin’s ‘Sunday Grey’ EP will be released on May 8, and features a second original paired with a remix by The Mole.
