Premiere: Moscoman mints new label Treisar with an enchanting odyssey

A spellbinding introduction

Mosocoman surged into the spotlight in 2016, putting out a number of stellar records, including his captivating debut album ‘A Shot In The Light’ on ESP Institute, and curating a release schedule of relentless quality through his Disco Halal imprint.

In 2017 the Israeli producer shows no signs of slowing down, today announcing a new vinyl-only label project Treisar (‘Twelve’ in Hebrew) through which 12 Moscoman solo efforts will arrive across this year.

The first outing is a three-track EP titled ‘Judah’s Lion’ which cuts a path through murky acid, warped funk and spellbinding house, conceptualised around the bible verse “he who dares to rouse the Lion of Judah will be haunted by the eternal babbles of Dalmar”.

Our pick from the inaugural 12” is the euphoric ‘A Saint And A Sinner’ on the B-side, which soars upwards from an infectious bassline at its core to mystical heights, with dazzling melodies leading the ascent. Listen below.

'Judah's Lion' is out through Treisar on Janaury 27, pre-order it here, and catch Moscoman playing the New Business party at Oval Space on January 28
