Premiere: Matthew Herbert's remix of Tyoma will put you in a spellbinding 'Haze'

The big man Herbert strikes fruity gold once again

When we travelled to Vietnam earlier in the year for the inaugural Epizode Festival, we didn't know what to expect. We knew that the beaches would be golden and that the line-up was as techy as can be, but this was the first time the event ran, so it was unchartered territory.

Obviously, it was amazing and acts like Sammy Dee, Binh, Edu Imbernon and Maayan Nidam blew us away but one artist really impressed us and before we arrived in Vietnam, we had no idea who he was.

Artem Harchenko otherwise known as Tyoma was instrumental in setting up the festival and we described him in our review as "a bit of celebrity" on the basis that everyone flocked to him wherever he went.

It's easy to see why as well. Of the four sets we saw him play over the weekend, he smashed every single one, delving between rolling house, dubby techno and ambient, atmospheric electronica.

Ever since then we've kept our eyes on him and now he's set to release his first EP of 2017 and it comes in the form of a remix EP. His debut album 'Mirror' dropped last year and the stand out track 'Haze' was released as a single.

'Haze' is now getting the remix treatment and we've got the exclusive premiere of Matthew Herbert's Hillary dub. Herbert is a man that needs no introduction and his edit of Haze is some of his fruitiest work yet. Check it.

'Haze' Remixes will be released on June 9
