Premiere: Lokane unleashes a slice of cold, industrial club on ‘Royalè’
His 'WINGS' EP is out today on Nervous Horizon
London producer Lokane has been making waves for a little while now, lighting up the scene with his drum-focused vision of deconstructed club music.
As he returns to Nervous Horizon with his ‘WINGS’ EP, the five-track project sees the beat maker delve deeper into his ever-eclectic palette as he ventures out into new, forward-thinking spaces. Tight, cohesive and colourful, ‘WINGS’ was conceived with an aim of coupling the raw energy of the US rap scene with the richness of the UK’s underground club movement - with guest spots from both Dai Burger and Mikey Dollaz.
Our pick of the bunch, ‘Royale’, is a truly unique slice of club. On it, Lokane is joined by Nervous Horizon’s very own TSVI as the pair explore a cold, industrial new soundscape, packed full of hypnotic immediacy.
