Premiere: Juniper return to Meandyou with a mesmerising new EP

'Edicts of Ashoka' is dancefloor epiphany inducing

As longstanding members of Manchester’s esteemed Meandyou collective, Juniper are an integral part of one of the UK’s finest parties and most promising labels.

The duo, comprising Dan Mumberson and Reuben Holt, appeared on Meandyou’s debut compilation release ‘The Palace’ in 2013, and now step up to take charge of the imprint’s seventh outing with their first solo EP in six years.

Following on from contributions to the likes of Underground Quality and Smallville, the five-track ‘Aramaic’ EP showcases Juniper’s atmospherically rich production style, traversing from the agitated energy of ‘Indigo Children’ through to the floaty trip of ‘Crystal Analysis’.

B-side cut ‘Edicts of Ashoka’ combines dampened, reverb-soaked textures with an untamed synth line, making for an immersive dancefloor cut. Listen below.
