Premiere: Dimitri Veimar says ‘Less Talk’, more techno

The latest banger from Turbo Recordings

As far as dark, raw techno goes, look no further than Russia’s Dimitri Veimar.

Since his debut in 2014 with the ‘Space Glue’ EP on Darkroom Dubs, he’s received praise from the likes of Daniel Avery, Jamie Jones, Danny Daze and Jennifer Cardini with his swagger-filled techno tunes.

Following releases on Omnidisc and Renate, Veimar latest offering comes via Tiga’s imprint, Turbo Recordings. The ‘Less Talk’ EP features five cuts of moody techno and belting acid tracks that highlight the producer’s swaggering style.

Today we get to bring you the premiere of title track ‘Less Talk’. Opening with some fist-pumpingly good drums and restrained acid squelches, the track opens up into wobbling synth mayhem while the 45th President of the United States recites one of his infamous credos. It’s a dark, but infectiously fun listen that will have the heads hitting the floor rather than stroking their chins.

The 'Less Talk' EP comes out on May 5 and can be pre-ordered here
