Premiere: Cristoph and Jeremy Olander create a grand finale with 'Last Dance'
The duo are making their debut on John Digweed's Bedrock a good one
There are a handful of artists that, before even hearing an actual EP or track, guarantee their outputs to be of the highest quality.
Both Jeremy Olander and Cristoph are widely regarded as exactly that kind of artist, each a force to be reckoned with in their own right and leaders within the newest wave of house music. It's been an exciting year for the both of them, Olander heading his own Vivrant label and embarking on a North American tour while Cristoph, a Knee Deep in Sound favorite, has just finished a tour as direct support for Eric Prydz. The pair that have now come together for a collaborative EP called 'Last Dance'.
Out on May 15 and debuting on John Digweed's hallowed Bedrock label, the lead track of the two arrives today on Mixmag. 'Last Dance' is a remarkable showcase of the kind of mature and layered sound that Olander and Cristoph are able to create together. It's easily a memorable finale tune, accompanied by a soulful vocal and a lingering, emotive feel.
Hear 'Last Dance' below ahead of its May 15 release on Bedrock.
