Premiere: Andrea Oliva revives the cheeky classic 'Welcome To The Jungle'
Marking the relaunch of Erick Morillo's SONDOS imprint
The first release of any label is an important, prestigious honor, much less the second coming of Erick Morillo's SONDOS imprint which aims to house tracks with Latin, tribal and techno influences, relaunching this summer.
Hand-picked by Morillo himself is none other than Swiss standout Andrea Oliva who has been dealt the challenging task of remixing not one, but two versions of Thick Dick's classic 'Welcome To The Jungle'.
Oliva's first mix arrives here today on Mixmag, emphasizing the strong and sharp percussive elements that'll be a highlight of SONDOS' future outputs as well. Already played out at Andrea's beloved Ushuaïa shows to massive reactions, you can guarantee this beloved classic has received a fair return.
The 'Welcome To The Jungle' remixes are out on SONDOS on July 17.
