Pornhub adds DOGE to the list of cryptocurrencies it accepts as payment
Pornhub will also accept XRP, BNB and USDC
Ever on the intersection between tech and pop culture, Pornhub has announced that it will now accept 'meme currency' DOGE as payment.
The DOGE – or Dogecoin – cryptocurrency was launched in 2013 and is currently having a resurgence thanks to the Wall Street Bets retail investor movement.
Having lain dormant for several years, DOGE has skyrocketed over the past weeks and has been hyped by meme bros such as Elon Musk.

Pornhub will also take payment in other breakout cryptos such as XRP, BNB and USDC.
The porn site now accepts 16 cryptocurrencies for its premium subscription service.
The platform has been taking crypto since 2018, adding Bitcoin and Litecoin in 2020.
Major credit card providers blocked payments to Pornhub earlier this year after it was revealed that the site was hosting child abuse and rape-related videos.
