Photographer and artist Georgina Cook launches a new podcast series exploring where visual art and music intersect
The woman behind dubstep archive Drumz Of The South steps into podcasting
Photographer Georgina Cook this week launched her new podcast series ‘Vision Of Sound’.
With the tagline ‘Conversations at the crossroads where music and art meet’, Cook will be speaking to various creatives about how they are inspired by music in their work and in their daily lives.
Upcoming guests include Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller, Steam Down illustrator Wumzum, filmmaker George Nindi, and writer and publisher Emma Warren. The podcast seeks to draw similarities between creative practices across the spectrum.

Georgina Cook has been photographing music scenes and musicians for over 20 years. She was key in documenting South London’s burgeoning dubstep scene through her blog Drumz Of The South, which has now been archived.
