Pete Tong & Jesse Rose in the Lab LA

This week we have Mr Pete Tong MBE and Jesse Rose dishing it out in Hollywood

The Lab LA is our weekly post-work party where we bring you the best American and international DJs live from the heart of Hollywood. Last Friday we hosted Pete Tong MBE and Jesse Rose.

On the off chance that you've miraculously stumbled upon electronic music for the first time, Pete Tong is widely regarded to be one of the most important figures in the history of the scene. Tong's weekly 'Essential Mix' on BBC Radio One has brought the continuously evolving sounds of the underground to the masses for over twenty years, and his 'All Gone Pete Tong' party, which started in Pacha Ibiza, has become a ubiquitous banner under which he curates massive festival stages and club line-ups all over the world. The man's importance to our scene can't really be overstated, and we're delighted to have had him in the Lab LA to show us what's what.

Jesse Rose, the very talented long-standing artist DJ also joined Pete on stage. He is an influential British house producer who's now an LA resident and has been an important part of the scene here for many years.

Pete is bringing his All Gone Pete Tong party with Deep Dish and Duke Dumont to Miami next week for WMC here.

The Lab LA is powered by Void Acoustics and streamed from the Project LA Patio. You can catch Pete Tong's set below on Saturday morning, or via Mixmag TV.

For those who can't make it down to Miami or LA, Pete's annual 'All Gone Miami' compilation out March 22 brings the sounds of South Beach to you. Pre-order here. Expect cutting edge house, techno and electronica from the likes of Booka Shade, Guy Gerber, P. Diddy, Scuba, Jonas Rathsman, Gorgon City and many more.
