Two masters of soaring techno combine with magical results
Petar Dundov crafts music that transports listeners to other realms, fusing the functionality of techno with the mysticism of ambient.
His debut album, ‘Sculptures 1 – 3’, under his birth name came out through Jeff Mills’ Tomorrow imprint in 2001, showcasing an artist with a skill for producing immersive soundscapes. Since then he’s settled into a winning rhythm with revered Belgian imprint Music Man Records, releasing four albums and many more EPs of emotionally-charged and intricately detailed dancefloor stunners.
His latest full-length on the label, ‘At The Turn Of Equilibrium’, came out last month, featuring 10-minute spidery groove ‘The Lattice’ which is being released as a single later this month backed with a remix from Frank Wiedemann.
The German producer, also known as one half of Âme and co-founder of Innervisions, holds a similar reputation for making soaring house and techno with a spooky edge. He chops up the winding original and repackages it into a tighter framework with spacey synth stabs and a more prominent kick. We’re delighted to be premiering tne remix of ‘The Lattice' below.
