Patrick Topping "buzzing" to be reunited with bag following Toronto gig "mix up"

The bag containing "items of sentimental value" had gone missing following the Trick boss's appearance at Electric Island festival

Patrick Topping has had his missing bag returned to him.

Yesterday, Topping was appealing for the return of a bag containing his laptop and items of sentimental value, after it went missing at a gig in Toronto this weekend.

The Trick label boss noticed his bag had disappeared after closing Stage Two of Toronto-based festival, Electric Island on Sunday (May 21) — taking to social media to share: “Just finished at Electric Island and can't find my bag. If anyone finds it please bring it to Westin Harbour Castle reception”.

A couple of hours later, Topping followed up on this — explaining: “The sentiment value of things in my bag and on my laptop can't be replaced, and is worth more than anything else in that bag."

"I won't judge how it was found, I just really want everything back and will reward anyone that can help me”.

Fans have shown the artist support, replying with comments such as: “I have second hand anxiety just from reading this, I hope someone turns it in” and “I really hope you find it!! Hopefully just a genuine mistake”.

Yesterday evening, Topping revealed that the bag had been returned explaining: "Turns out it was a mistake and someone took the wrong bag".

Topping’s next gig will see him play at Extrema Outdoor, Belgium and Life 23 festival on the same day on May 26.
