Paco Osuna is bringing his NOW HERE concept to ADE 2024

The sold-out show will feature appearances from Ariel Rodz, Iglesias, Latmun, SOSA, Val Ginnelly and Paco Osuna himself

Paco Osuna is bringing his world-renowned NOW HERE concept to Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) for the second year in a row.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 19, between 2:30PM and 11:30:PM at De Hallen Studio's, an event space in the centre of Amsterdam.

The line-up features a range of artists who played during NOW HERE’s summer residency at Hï Ibiza, bringing the party's focus on house and techno to the Dutch capital. These include Ariel Rodz, Iglesias, Latmun, SOSA, Val Ginnelly and Osuna himself.

Taking place in a venue with double the capacity of last years’, the event has once again sold-out.

“Although this is really satisfying,” Osuna notes in a press release. “For me the important thing is not to sell out, the important thing is to connect with our audience at each party - one of our goals is to form a bond between the audience and the entire DJ team based solely on music.”

“For us, it is very important to have a presence in a week as relevant to the industry as ADE, and the fact that people want to come to our event and buy their tickets in advance is a sign that we are doing things right. I am very grateful to our audience for that.”

Speaking on his curatorial process, the artist says that he prioritises the “music and art of mixing” over “the name of the DJ” – pointing out that these are “values that have been somewhat lost”.

“What is important is what the DJ creates in his/her sessions, it does not matter if it is a big name or an artist who is just starting out, it is our philosophy, we believe in creativity and we want to get out of the comfort zone,” he continues.

Bringing together over over 2500 artists from across the globe, ADE is considered the largest electronic dance music festivals in the world.

Following its appearance at ADE, NOW HERE will travel across the Atlantic to host two major parties in Latin America.

The first, taking place on November 27, will be at Mexico City’s World Trade Center, a venue with a 4000-person capacity.

But that won’t be the largest venue to hold a NOW HERE party this year as, three days later, Osuna will head to San José in Costa Rica to bring his message of “living in the moment” to the 5500-capacity National Convention Center on November 30.

Marking Osuna’s 30th year as a DJ, 2024 has already been busy for the Spanish musician as he took his event on a world tour stopping off at Miami, New York, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Tulum, Medellin, Phuket, and more, before making his way to the White Isle for NOW HERE's third season-long takeover at Hï Ibiza.

ADE is set to kick off on October 16, with a run of one-off opening concerts taking place across the city's cultural venues. These will be followed by an impressive programme of events, talks, workshops, club nights and more.
