Ozoyo unveils forthcoming EP, 'Cosmic Planta'
Whilst the first single is out now, the full record drops next month
Turkish producer Ozoyo has unveiled his upcoming EP, 'Cosmic Planta'.
Inspired by the textures of nature, the record was produced by the artist in his home studio with his laptop, a few synths and some drum machines, traversing experimental beats to ambient sounds crafting a psychedelic and immersive six-tracker.
Lead single from the EP 'Planta Dance' is available now, which builds to an upbeat crescendo of intriguing synth sounds and beats before ending on a slower, more reflective note, illustrating the journey-like feel that listeners can expect from the full EP.

"Cosmic Planta is the story of a planet in a completely different galaxy that has not yet been discovered," explains Ozoyo on the utopian inspiration behind the record. "Only our green friends live on the planet; plants and trees.
"After a special asteroid from outer space lands on this green planet, everything changes... The liquid that flows through the asteroid gives the plants a nervous system and several brains that are spread over the plants and trees.
"The trees can dissolve: they can move, dance, be invisible and communicate with each other on frequencies we cannot hear."

Clearly drawing from his fascination with the plant kingdom reflected in his sonic palette, Ozoyo mixes a variety of genres which has resulted in him releasing five EPs, a beat tape and individual singles.
