NYC club Rash set to reopen following arson attack
Two people were injured after the venue was set ablaze in April
Brooklyn nightclub Rash has announced that it will reopen in Autumn this year, following a catastrophic arson attack in April.
The venue announced the news on Instagram: "It’s been a minute - but we’re itching to announce - Rash will be returning to 941 Willoughby this fall"
Rash urged its followers to support its reopening through its new clothing line — with slick shots of models wearing Rash branded clothing in the damaged interior of the nightclub.

The venue was set on fire in an arson attack on April 3 after suspect John Lhota allegedly walked into the venue and poured gasoline over the floor and set the bar aflame.
Two individuals were hospitalised — a bartender and the DJ who had been forced to run through flames to exit the venue and suffered substantial burns.
On April 13 suspect John Lhota was arrested and charged with intentionally setting fire to Rash — with Breone Peace, the District Attorney for the Eastern District of New York promised the office would "vigorously prosecute this case."

"The office strongly condemns such acts of violence. The victims and all LGBTQI+ New Yorkers should be able to enjoy their nights out in peace without fear of such a dangerous attack"
Rash has already raised over $123,000 on its GoFundMe, with all money going towards paying staff and materials to restore the venue.
