Null embraces '90s trance euphoria with first track from debut LP

Strap in for a ride through galaxies of visuals designed for VR

Melbourne electronica-naut Null, real name Hayden Quinn, has announced details of his debut album and shared its euphoric first single, 'Innocence Module.'

With a nod to '90s trance and the emotive productions of the likes of Sasha, Paul Van Dyk and Chicane, the high-energy track is complemented by immersive 360-degree visuals designed by Minnesota-based artist Cubex Godhands.

The album, 'Med', takes inspiration from a vast range of emotions and subgenres, including late-90s trance, early-90s hardcore breakbeat and acid, and modern experimental electronica.

It was written over three years during a period when Quinn was taking antidepressants on and off, in a relationship described as "tumultuous."

The release follows his 2015 'Almost' EP on Acephale/Siberia Records.

Check out the track and visuals, designed to be waded through via phone or VR headset, below. 'Med' is out in October on Enhancer Records.
