The sports brand have unveiled three new iterations of the iconic Air Max trainer

2020 marks the 30-year anniversary of the Air Max 90 and to celebrate Nike are adding three new silhouettes to the Air Max family.

These latest footwear offerings were unveiled at an in-depth Q&A with Nike experts and designers, alongside some D.I.Y dyeing workshops, at Coal Drops Yard, London.

Entitled Air Max 2090, Air Max Verona and the Air Max FlyEase respectively, each trainer will be released at different points throughout the first half of this year.

The Air Max 2090 was designed by looking into what the future might hold. It leverages the same DNA that made the Air Max 90 trainer so iconic 30 years ago and is deemed the “shoe of the future”.

The Air Max Verona is based on the very first women’s-focused Air Max shoe – the Air Verona. Originally released in 1992, this silhouette pays homage to the original running trainer and joins a great line of female exclusive Air Max trainers.

For the third instalment, Nike have reimagined their use of FlyEase technology and applied it to a Sportswear trainer for the first time, merging technology with the original 1990 Air Max 90 design.

The Nike Air Max 2090 releases globally this spring, while the Air Max Verona and Air Max 90 FlyEase release February 15 and March 9 respectively. Visit www.nike.com/gb for more details.
