New skydiving techno festival "Skyfest" is dropping this year

The best way to "get high" at a rave?

A brand new festival is offering ravers the chance the combine techno raving and skydiving — a double drop if you will.

Swooping into San Diego at the end of the month, Skyfest will be mixing up the worlds of adrenaline junkies with party animals at a skydiving site just outside of the city.

With a capacity of 200, the festival will allow every raver to try-out skydiving "just a few dozen yards away from the dance floor," according to Skyfest.

"There will be hundreds of skydivers floating down all day long and the vibes are going to be incredible," adds Skyfest.

Art installations, food trucks, a celebratory beer garden and a display of parachutes will be based around the festival.

Falling on August 27 at Skydive San Diego, when on the ground at Skyfest you can witness 12 hours of techno and house music as well as an afterparty at Bloom Nightclub in downtown.

You can purchase Skyfest tickets here with a percentage from the event to be donated to Casa de los Pobres, an urban relief centre in Tijuana.
