New pills circulating Ibiza may be the strongest ever tested
Spanish authorities have issued a warning to recreational drug users
A batch of ecstasy pills currently circulating Ibiza, the UK and Europe is said to have record high levels of MDMA.
The grey tablets, pressed in the shape of a popular Ibizan party series, were obtained by Spanish authorities and have tested to contain 400mg of MDMA.
The potency level is five times stronger than the average dose that can lead to death and other serious health risks. Spanish authorities have issued a warning urging clubbers to stay away from the specific bunch.
Although The Loop recently issued a similar warning for the 250mg Mastercard pingers traveling around the UK, this is the first time authorities have found ecstasy tablets containing such a high amount of MDMA.
Spain's National Police states that forces confiscated the pills from two arrested robbery suspects, who were also found with "23.79 grams of cocaine, 3.4 grams of MDMA and 48 grams of liquid ecstasy".
