Mechatok announces release of debut album, ‘Wide Awake’

Mechatok has revealed details of his debut album, titled ‘Wide Awake’, set for release on August 8 via Young, an 11-track project exploring themes of “identity, authenticity, and digital overstimulation”.

The first single from the record, ‘Expression On Your Face’, features Bladee and Ecco2k – first debuted at Bladee’s sold out Brixton show in December.

Nayoo drops new five-track EP ‘FiG’ on Khawa 962

Amman-born and raised producer Nayoo has released a brand new five-track EP on his own imprint, Khawa 962, entitled ‘FiG’.

The record uses traditional percussion across each track, from the darbuka drum to “El Sham percussion”, each turned into heady club tracks through obscure mutations.

Fever Ray releases new version of 2009’s ‘I’m Not Done’

Two years after its live debut, and some 16 years after the release of the original, Fever Ray has released a new version of their beloved track ‘I’m Not Done’.

The latest single, titled ‘I’m Not Done (Therapy Session)’, was premiered during a 2023 tour alongside Radical Romantics, and lands alongside a brand new music video directed by Martin Falck.

salute teams up with Peter Xan on new single, ‘gbesoke’

Manchester’s salute has teamed up with emerging British-Nigerian vocalist Peter Xan on a new single, ‘gbesoke’, marking salute’s first release of 2025.

“’gbesoke’ originally came about during the making of my album, ‘TRUE MAGIC’, but it wasn't until after its release that the production clicked for me” they explain. “With Peter Xan and I both having Nigerian heritage in common, it's sick to have his Yoruba roots shine through in the lyrics.”

Wookie drops latest single ‘Back 2 Us’ featuring KYNO

Garage legend Wookie is back with his latest single, ‘Back 2 Us’, featuring London duo KYNO (AKA Keep Ya Nose Out), marking his return to 2-step.

“‘Back 2 Us’ is me revisiting my 2-step era,” he explains. “It’s perfect for summer, let’s bring back real songs and bridges. That’s how I see it.”

Skream and Benga return new single 'Good Things Come To Those Who Wait'

Dubstep originators Skream and Benga have shared new single 'Good Things Come To Those Who Wait', the pair's first original release in over a decade. 

Released via Sony Music, the new single is a typically down-and-dirty dubstep wobbler that breaks down in the centre into a sinewy array of synths — marking the pairs first outing since 2014's 'Midnight Request Line'. 

The pair have reunited for a number of DJ sets in the last two years, releasing a remix of Charli xcx's 'Von Dutch' last May.

Daphni brings dishes out 'Sad Piano House' on latest single

Just when you thought Daphni, AKA Caribou, couldn't get anymore tears-on-the-dancefloor-inducing, the producer has shared his latest single 'Sad Piano House'.

Out now via his Jiaolong imprint, Daphni tumbles through an orchestral piano sample layered against rumbling percussion and a chopped, sultry vocal; the single follows on from the Sofia Kourtesis-featuring 'Unidos', which debuted last month.

Addy Weitzman shares debut solo single 'Running & Returning'

Montreal-based musician Addy Weitzman - known for his work within duos Footprintz, The Beat Escape and synth-pop trio Dawn to Dawn - has unvieled his debut solo single 'Running & Returning'. 

Out now via Seth Troxler's Slacker 85 imprint, Weitzman's track offers up an old-school, new wave-inspired array of wavy synths, dream-like vocals and kaleidoscopic percussion.

Girls Don't Sync debut new single 'Our House' on their imprint Fourmation Records

UKG quartet Girls Don't Sync's new single 'Our House' has landed on their newly-minted Fourmation Records

The joyful, vocal-led house banger is the first to land on the new label, which has been created in collaboration with legendary dance music imprint Positiva.

“So happy to say that after a year of testing it out, Our House is finally out now! With lyrics as powerful as the drop, Our House has become a GDS staple. This track was heavily inspired by a session we had with Basement Jaxx," say Girls Don't Sync. 

"They encouraged us to be playful and experimental with our vocals and to use real-life stimulus for samples and melodies—it really shaped the identity we wanted to bring forward in our music.”

Ejeca shares new single 'All I Need' via Peggy Gou's Gudu Records

Belfast producer Ejeca, aka Trance Wax, has finally released his much-rinsed single 'All I Need' via Peggy Gou's Gudu Records.

The rowdy house banger, utilised by everyone from Barry Can't Swim to Jamie Jones, is the lead single from Ejeca's forthcoming EP of the same name, which is set for release next month.

BAMBII drops new track and accompanying video ‘NSYNC’

BAMBII has released a new single and video for ‘NSYNC’, which features on her upcoming ‘Infinity Club II’ EP, due out on Because Music on June 20.

‘NSYNC’ features BEAM, pairing the Jamica-born, Miami-raised artist’s smooth vocals with BAMBII’s global club influenced production.

The full EP also features  Ravyn Lenae, Jessy Lanza, Yaeji, Sadboi, JELEEL!, Aluna, Lamsi, Scrufizzer, Lyzza, Lady Lykez and £Monzo.

Sammy Virji announces new album 'Same Day Cleaning' 

Next-gen UKG donSammy Virji has shared details of his highly-anticipated debut album, 'Same Day Cleaning', which is set to land via Capitol Records on September 19.

The Oxford-born artist has released three singles from the project so far: 'I Guess We're Not The Same',  'Cops & Robbers' featuring Skepta and 'Nostalgia' featuring Issey Cross — check out 'Cops & Robbers' below.
