Harvey Sutherland announces second album ‘Debt’
Harvey Sutherland will release his second album ‘Debt’ on October 10 via his Clarity Recordings label.
Preceding single ‘Body Language ft. Julian Hamilton’ is out now, pairing flickering melodies and airy grooves with woozy vocals.
"I had these chords floating around for a year or so. Played them for Jules during a writing day at his place in Sydney. He found a great melody almost instantly. I kept hearing the words ‘reading your body language’ in his early phrases so we kept pushing at it,” shares Sutherland. “I think it’s the singular moment of IRL collaboration on this album — nice to do things old-school with one of the great Australian songwriters.”
Sutherland will also be touring a new live A/V show with tickets on sale here.

“Midlife crisis meets The Prodigy”: DJ Koze remixes Everything Is Recorded
DJ Koze has shared a new remix of ‘Porcupine Tattoo’ by Everything Is Recorded, AKA XL Recordings head Richard Russell.
The enigmatic producer has totally transformed the original track - a country-esque lilting guitar ballad featuring Noah Cyrus & Bill Callahan - into a wigged-out, creepy club track with an ominous bassline and unnerving vocals.
“Richard asked me to approach this remix not with reverence – but with disrespect. It was liberating. Now it sounds a bit like a midlife crisis meets The Prodigy. You’ve been warned,” advises DJ Koze.

JayaHadADream drops garage banger ‘The Bank’
JayaHadADream has linked up with producers Zdot and Krunchie to drop a summery garage heater.
‘The Bank’ is “destined for festival season,” says Jaya, calling it a “a skippy, catchy, garage tune that has that bounce I grew up loving. The lyrics come from a very real place. I was thinking about time, pressure, self-worth, and how people move when you're focused on your own lane. Zdot and Krunchie came through with the production—it’s clean but still gritty, and it gave me space to just talk my talk. Some of the bars are playful, some are personal, but it all ties back to the hook. It’s about knowing your value, even when others don’t.”

Justice share remix EP for The Flints collab track 'Mannequin Love'
Justice have released a new remix pack of their The Flints collaborative single, 'Mannequin Love', which debuted on last year's massive album 'Hyperdrama'.
Featuring reworks from The Dare, Hudson Mohawke and Braxe + Falcon — the new EP is available to stream/buy via iconic Paris imprint Ed Banger Records, now.
“I spent most of high school driving around listening to a burned CD copy of Cross, so having the privilege to remix a Justice song is utterly surreal," says The Dare. "‘Mannequin Love’ was my favourite track off of the latest LP, so I sped it up and added blown out bass (naturally). As for the new BPM, there was only one option: 127, disco heaven.”

Bou surprise-releases 31-track collection 'B-sides Mixtape'
Drum 'n' bass upstart Bou has surprise-released a new mixtape collection, consisting of 31-tracks developed across the last five years.
'B-sides Mixtape' landed on July 18, and features a slew of hard-hitting collabs including DJ Marky, Turno, Hedex and more.
“Losing my dad hit me and my family very hard, but it also got me thinking about all the advice he'd given me over the years, which I admittedly hadn't listened to," says Bou.
"He always told me I was sitting on too many tunes and needed to get more of my music out in the world - so this project is just that. 31 tracks - all quality - and all a statement of my hard work and my dad's admiration for what I do," he continues. "I’ve been sitting on so much music for years and after everything that happened, I stopped overthinking and just decided to let it all go. This is the raw side of what I do.”
