New "immersive" David Bowie experience is coming to London
Located at Kings Cross' Lightroom Studios, David Bowie: You're Not Alone will feature "rare performance footage, photography, drawings, lyrics, personal notes and sketches"
A new immersive David Bowie experience is set to launch in London in April.
David Bowie: You're Not Alone is described as a "360" look at the legendary 'Space Oddity' musician through "rare performance footage, photography, drawings, lyrics, personal notes and sketches".

Opening on April 22, the experience will take over Kings Cross' Lightroom Studios - which has hosted immersive exhibitions from David Hockney and another titled The Moonwalkers presented by Tom Hanks - and has been designed and produced with the help of Mark Grimmer, the Creative Director for the V&A’s David Bowie Is... exhibition.
Audiences will be able to take in a "range of visual material" which will be projected onto Lightroom's 11-metre tall walls and floor, while the venue's HOLOPLOT spatial soundsystem will feature tracks from Bowie's expansive catalogue, "newly reconfigured" by sound designer Gareth Fry.

The Starman will also act as the "sole" narrator for David Bowie: You're Not Alone, which the studio claims makes for an "intimate and revealing self-portrait".
