New NYC nightclub Rash opens this week

The Brooklyn night spot will be open for seven straight days following its successful opening party

A new club, Rash, has officially opened in New York City.

Following several teasers and soft launch parties, a new club Rash is officially open in Brooklyn, New York.

The venue officially launched on Friday, October 22 with an event that featured the likes of Shyboi, Ren G and Yay Spray.

Over their opening weekend, the venue also welcomed DJ NJ Drone, Goth Jafar and DJ Chaotic Ugly (Machine Girl).

Over the course of October, the venue has hosted a series of soft launch events, including an event put on by the New World Dysorder collective with Jasmine Infiniti.

The venue is located at 941 Willoughby, nearby the neighbourhood's Myrtle Avenue - an area which already contains an array of other iconic Brooklyn venues such as Bossa Nova Civic Club.

The club will remain open for seven days this week following the successful opening party.

It has an intimate feel with dim red lighting and exposed brick walls which gives it a very local, Brooklyn feel.

As of August 17, people over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination to enter indoor entertainment venues in NYC. This includes all nightclubs and other night time venues. Nightclubs are open to full capacity in New York City.
