New 900-capacity, open-air venue to open in Liverpool next month
Located in the Baltic Triangle, SoundYard has promised to platform emerging local DJs alongside established talent
Liverpool is set to welcome a new 900-capacity, open-air venue next month.
Taking over the former Cains Brewery Space in the city's Baltic Triangle area, SoundYard will feature indoor and outdoor event spaces — with programming set to focus on both emerging local DJs and established electronic talent.

While SoundYard hasn't confirmed its official opening date yet, the venue will open its doors for the first time at some point next month; already announced event partners include Liverpool-based label and collective Conduit Sound, while the venue has already announced a launch show for its in-house party HAUS on July 26.
On its website, SoundYard promises to host "late night raves" featuring "house, techno, jungle, disco, jungle, garage and more".

Ahead of its official launch, SoundYard is offering a competition for "a summer of free parties" at the venue, offering a winner guestlist to every show alongside a £500 bar tab to spend across the period — five runner-ups will also win guestlist to each event this summer.
