Mr Oizo - 9/10

Ferocious drops, zippy riffs and fucking weird vocal cuts. It can only be Mr Oizo, and the genius is back with more hell-raising electro. There really isn't anyone like him; his style is so unique and so outrageous that when anyone tries to imitate it, it sounds cheap and tacky. His new one, 'Hand In The Fire', features Charli XCX, something we raised an eyebrow at.

It's actually more reserved than usual, but the other two tracks on the EP bring things back to the danger zone. 'A Rekurd' features preposterous looping vocals that act as the crux of the track, and 'Being Flat' is textbook head-thrashing club music.
