Mr G launches exclusive clothing line G Threadz
The pieces have been designed with his seamstress wife and inspired by scenes from Tokyo
As ever, legendary house and techno DJ Mr G has been busy during lockdown.
Mr G and his wife, a seamstress, have designed a series of Tokyo-inspired items. The new line, called G Threadz, are now available to buy online.

Mr G, also known as Colin McBean, has been producing house and techno music for over 30 years and his career has taken him across the globe. Tokyo became a firm favourite and as a keepsake from every trip, Mr G would visit a plethora of traditional Japanese haberdasheries, buying up ends of lines of Japanese fabrics featuring weird and wonderful prints to take home.

There’s also a DJ mix that Mr G has made to run alongside the new collection. It has been inspired by the many records that Mr G has picked up from his travels in Tokyo record shops, and is peppered with a few key selections.
