Mixmag & Smirnoff link with Black Coffee, Madam X and more for Global Dancefloor documentaries
20 artists, nine countries, one global dancefloor
Mixmag has teamed up with Smirnoff for a new documentary series called Global Dancefloor, which explores the most exciting dance music cultures around the world and features artists like Black Coffee, Madam X, Octopizzo and more.
Consisting of nine episodes, each featuring a different country, viewers are guided by local heroes to present an in-depth look at their buzzing music communities. Then, the series continues with episodes on South Africa’s afro house scene, Angola’s innovative kuduro genre, the vibrant party culture in Nigeria, the underground community in Beirut, high energy dance music in India, female techno talent taking over Thailand and a spotlight on the leading music collective in Jakarta.
