Mat Zo: "BTW, you know you can pay to headline a festival, it's about $100,000."

Mat Zo has gone IN on the EDM establishment

Mat Zo has been firing well-aimed shots at the EDM establishment over the last few days.

He's used Twitter to air an assortment of industry-based frustrations which he says have built up over the last seven years in the game.

Rather than letting rip on a stereotypical dance music Twitter beef, Zo is airing some bonafide grievances which, if you hit up his timeline, are resonating with a raft of artists and fans alike. He's been kicking at the higher echelons of dance music, hitting topics such as ghost writing, making music simply for the money, 'fake' DJs and, perhaps most interestingly of all, the allegation that artists are buying festival slots for $100,000.

Zo can be counted among fellow big names such as Skrillex, Porter Robinson and Deadmau5 as someone who doesn't really play by the rules. Some more choice tweets below.
