Major Lazer set to release two albums this year
The second album will be released later this year or early next
As if the prospect of one new album wasn't enough, Major Lazer have announced that they will be releasing a second album this year.
In an interview with inthemix, Walshy Fire spilt the beans on the new record which has already been titled and will be due out either at the end of this year or early 2016.
"We're gonna release another album. We already have a name for it, it's called 'Music Is The Weapon' , and it's gonna come out later this year or early next year for sure. We have about two more albums worth of material."
The first album, 'Peace is the Mission', will be released on June 1 and features collaborations with Ellie Goulding, 2 Chainz, Ariana Grande, Pusha T and the previously released 'Lean On' with MØ and DJ Snake, which can be listened to below.
