Lucy & Klock - 9/10

Both Ben Klock and Lucy are poster-boys for contemporary techno. When we heard they'd teamed up for an outing on Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts we knew it would be a tidy package. 'War Lullaby' is an aptly named track that, despite oozing menace with its choppy, scissor-

like synths, is actually quite understated. It has the power to raze a club to the ground, yet that strength is never fully unleashed. The resulting tension makes it a surefire winner.
