Love to be... announces festival to celebrate its 30th anniversary
Taking place in Harrogate, it'll be the largest dance music event ever to take place in the northern town
Love to be... - the seminal club night and record label at the cornerstone of early UK house music - is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year by throwing its own festival on September 14.
Taking place in the Yorkshire town of Harrogate, the festival will be its largest dance music event ever to take place, with names including Roger Sanchez, Barbara Tucker, Darius Syrossian, Adelphi Music Factory and more on the billing (including an acid house set from Bez of the Happy Mondays).
“We feel privileged to have been able to do our part in supporting House music over the past 30 years," explain the party's Marc Dennis and Tony Walker. "As we celebrate the 30th anniversary milestone, culminating in our very own festival, Love to be… will still deliver that proper 90s atmosphere combined with a modern-day vibe. We can’t wait.”

There will be representatives from the charity at the festival, available to talk to people during the day, with a minimum of £1000 donated to The Ostrich Foundation by the charity.
"We, at The Ostrich Foundation, are thrilled to be selected as the charity of choice for the prestigious Love to be… Festival held here in our home town of Harrogate, this September," explains Matthew Jackson of the charity. "Together, we aim to create a positive impact, raise awareness in crowds that haven’t yet heard of us, and raise further funds to help us continue to make a difference, as we strive to create a supportive and uplifting community.”
