London club Gallery teams up with BLOND:ISH’s ‘Bye Bye Plastic’ foundation

The foundation’s long-term goal is to eliminate single-use plastic in the music industry

West London club Gallery has announced a partnership with BLOND:ISH’s eco-conscious foundation Bye Bye Plastic.

BLOND:ISH launched the foundation in 2020 with the stated aim of helping eliminate single-use plastic in the music industry and creating a greener future for touring musicians.

The collaboration will see Gallery continue its commitment to not using single-use plastic and looking into new ways to reduce the venue's environmental impact. It will also see £1 from every glass bottle of water sold donated to the foundation. It launches on June 19 when Blond:ish plays at the venue.

“Creating a greener future through the music industry and nightlife is really important to us,” says founder Barth Rougier. “We’ve already eliminated single-use plastic from our drinks service so partnering with BLOND:ISH and Bye Bye Plastic to work on future initiatives and help spread the word of the foundation’s work is an exciting prospect for us.”
