Starring on the cover of Mixmag in 2021, Logic1000’s accompanying mix was the insight to her musical surroundings at the time featuring tracks from Felix Geith, Nikki Nair, Panooc, and more.
“It’s mostly unreleased music,” said the former cover star of her mix. “I do a lot of Bandcamp digging (it’s my record store!) and I get sent a lot of lovely music from a lot of lovely people which I am grateful for”. Opening with unperson’s ‘In Your Own Time’, quickly followed by Alphonse’s ‘Be There’, the Sydney artist curates a Bandcamp-inspired melting pot where friends and future stars collide. “There’s so much incredible music I’ve been sent that I had to showcase it. So many great up-and-coming producers out there!”
Recorded on her XDJ-1000’s, the producer added that the hour-long mix was packed full of “amazing tunes that were so fun to mix”. “I recently moved my XDJ-1000’s and Pioneer mixer home from mine and Big Ever’s studio. It’s set up in my beautiful light filled bedroom (yes the sun has been out recently) so it’s a really nice space to create a mix in,” she said.
