How did you put together your cover mix?

This mix is made up almost entirely of unreleased music that has been sent to me over the last couple of months. There’s so much incredible music I’ve been sent that I had to showcase it. So many great up and coming producers out there!

Where and on what equipment did you record it?

I recently moved my XDJ-1000’s and Pioneer mixer home from mine and Big Ever’s studio. It’s set up in my beautiful light filled bedroom (yes the sun has been out recently) so it’s a really nice space to create a mix in.

How does what you play on affect your style of DJing and what is your general process for finding music?

I do a lot of Bandcamp digging (it’s my record store) and as I said earlier I get sent a lot of lovely music from a lot of lovely people which I am grateful for.

Can you talk through some of the producers you've picked for this particular mix?

DJ Plead is a dear friend of mine and it’s no secret I’m a huge fan of his. I’ve put an unreleased tune of his in this mix which is bursting with character and I can’t get enough of it.

There’s a crazy good Nikki Nair track in there - they’ve never made something I haven’t liked!

There’s also two tracks in the mix by Panooc and D.D. Curry - amazing tunes that were so fun to mix.

Unperson - In Your Own Time
Alphonse - Be There (feat Be Atwell)
Panooc & D. D. Curry - Going Up
Human Movement - Janets 808
Persian - Feel Da Vibe
Nikki Nair - Show Me Love
Rumu - Iso Desire
Artist Unknown - Watch This
FAUZIA - Insurrection
Felix Geith - Me N U Tryna Call Remix
Dj MaBoOku - Respira
DJ Plead - Title Unknown
Len Lewis - Get On It
Panooc & D. D. Curry - Give Some
