Liam Gallagher says he "stacked it" while playing a Simpsons VR game
He claims it's worse than when he fell out of a helicopter
Liam Gallagher has recently admitted that he “stacked it” while playing a Simpsons video game on his VR headset.
In an interview with Absolute Radio the musician stated that he "stacked it" while playing the game on his Oculus Quest 2 VR headset - which nearly resulted in an even worse injury than when he fell out of a helicopter.

Last year Gallagher fell out of a helicopter after his performance at Isle of Wight Festival; resulting in injuries that stopped him from performing in future shows.
Speaking on Absolute Radio, Gallagher said: “I’m in The Simpsons thing, you’re in The Simpsons shop selling people food and stuff and all of a sudden, I’ve got right into it and there’s a counter and I’ve lent on the counter to have a little chat with a dude, and I’ve stacked it.
"Nearly smashed my face in again on the island. (His 18-year-old son) Gene’s grabbed me. I’ve ended up in the fridge.”

He then explained that his VR days are now over: "It’s no good. I’ve had to pack it in,” he told Dave Berry.

Gallagher had previously told Radio X presented Chris Moyles that he "wouldn’t have minded going that way" following his helicopter accident. He said: " ‘It’s better than slipping on a chopstick innit? Banging your head on the TV, remote control and all that, that’s a crap way to go innit?"
He's also commented on his age and how that's impacted his rock and roll lifestyle, saying: "‘When I’m singing, there’s no smoking and I don’t drink dairy on the day. I just have jasmine teas. It’s good for the throat. When that’s done, then I go back to how I am."

Liam's interview on Absolute Radio is due to air on the Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Tuesday February 8.
