Leeds' Imaginarium announces programming and new soundsystem collaboration
To celebrate being in the city for over a year, the community-focused creative hub has upgraded things for its nighttime dancers
The Imaginarium has announced its forthcoming end-of-winter programme stretching until April, with names including Freakenstein, Elias Sternin and Tau Carr.
Accompanying the announcement, the Leeds-based venue - which, by day, operates as a record store, plant and coffee shop, and by night a 120-cap loft-style venue nestled away in the city centre - has shared plans for a new Martin Audio soundsystem, planned to be fully functional by the end of the month.

The intention is to offer dancers "a cutting-edge, immersive audio experience, making it an even more enticing destination for music enthusiasts and event-goers".
"We have celebrated over one year in Leeds now so we decide to up the ante with a new soundsystem coming in February," Alex Kelsall of the venue tells Mixmag.
"So, to add fuel to the fire, we have booked in artists such as Freakenstein, Omar, Elias Sternin, Alec Falconer, and more. We have aimed to transform The Imaginarium into a haven for creativity and expression, ensuring each event is a testament to the venue's dedication to providing unparalleled experiences for its diverse audience."
