LCD Soundsystem to play first UK show since 2010 this summer
As well as Major Lazer, they headline Lovebox in July
LCD Soundsystem are headlining Lovebox this summer, in what will be their first UK date since splitting up five years ago.
While James Murphy (pictured) and co. headline the Saturday, Diplo's Major Lazer play the last main stage set on Friday.
Murphy wrote a post on LCD's website, going into detail about their future plans: "We're not just playing Coachella. we're playing all over. We're not just having some reunion tour. We're releasing a record (sometime this year—still working on it, actually), so this isn't a victory lap or anything, which wouldn't be of much interest to us."
Regarding comments from people who "feel betrayed" by the group reuniting after their farewell show at Madison Square Garden, Murphy stated they made him feel "incredibly sad".
Lovebox takes place on July 15 and 16 and you can read Murphy's post in full here.
