Lawrence Hart announces debut album, ‘Come In Out Of The Rain’
The 12-track record lands this April on Domino’s Double Six imprint
DJ, producer, and live musician Lawrence Hart has announced the release of his long-awaited debut album, ‘Come In Out Of The Rain’.
The 12-track record is set to appear on Domino’s Double Six imprint on April 4, described by Hart as an “emotional garage record – euphoric and therapeutic”.
“A big thing for me on this record is balancing the more mechanical and technical side of my music with the heart and euphoria,” he explains.

The first single from the album, ‘Closer To You’, landed today (January 15) on Double Six. The track layers euphoric, pitched-up vocals over breaks and synths – a simmering, emotional club cut. Listen below.
‘Come In Out Of The Rain’ marks Hart’s first full-length album under his solo dance music alias, but not his first as a live musician and writer.
“I’ve been doing music my whole life and have put out many records in bands and as a writer, producer and mixer,” he says, “but to be putting out my first solo album seems unreal.”

The record muses on feelings of “acceptance and opening myself up”, he says. “I started the Lawrence Hart moniker as I wanted to make music to bring people together on the dancefloor and build that sense of community and togetherness”.
“I’m incredibly proud of the record and can’t wait to share it with you,” he said in an announcement on Instagram earlier today. “In the meantime, please enjoy this new single.”
