Lady Blacktronika

The San Jose-born, Berlin-residing Lady Blacktronika has been carefully crafting a super deep house sound that draws from a pool of Chicago and Detroit influences for quite some time now.

She's released killer EPs on Deep Explorer and Cocaine Recordings as well as cuts on her own imprints Sound Black Recordings and Sound Kemystry. Now she heads to Meda Fury for a seriously seductive five-tracker.

The record will be released on August 14 and it explores the different sides of her house repertoire. We have the premiere of 'Trim The Breaks' and it's a restless chunk of house gold.

Thick basslines, fruity riffs and fierce stabs help to create this nostaliga-inducing cut. It's all over the shop but that's part of its charm and we absolutely love it. Check it.
