KiNK has announced new album 'Playground'
It's coming on September 22 via Gerd Janson's Running Back
Following the popularity of his track ‘Perth’, it’s been revealed that KiNK will release a full-length LP on Running Back in November.
‘Perth’ did the rounds at festivals this summer and will be included on the 12-track album that’ll be released on Gerd Janson’s imprint.
‘Playground’ will be the first full-length LP for KiNK, real name Strahil Velchev', since 2014’s ‘Under Destruction’, which was released on Macro. In that time he’s released for DGTL, Royal Oak and put out the ‘Cloud Generator’ EP on Running Back.
‘Playground’ has been described as “an exhibition of an artist in his prime”.
The press release reads: “Avant-garde soundscapes stand next to boisterous bangers, classic club tracks and peak time emotions find their idiosyncratic and contemplative counterparts – all of it coming down like a torrent in a drought."
If it’s anything like his remix of Radio Slave’s ‘Children Of The E’ then we’re all in.
'Playground' is released September 22. Listen to Perth below
